Judge Rules on Harry’s Drug Case as Charles Meets Southport Survivors

A judge has completed the review of Prince Harry’s visa application to the US, following details of his past drug use shared in his 2023 memoir, Spare.

The Duke of Sussex faced scrutiny regarding his visa after he recounted using several illegal substances, including cocaine and magic mushrooms.

Judge Carl Nichols submitted his decision to a Washington DC court in a sealed document after a four-month-long review of Harry’s visa, according to The Sun.

This decision might be made public in the coming days. If it turns out that Harry was not truthful on his application, his continued residence in the US could be jeopardized.

The case was brought about by the Heritage Foundation, a think tank group, which sued the Department of Homeland Security for denying their Freedom of Information request to view Harry’s application.

Meanwhile, King Charles is set to meet privately with the bereaved families from the Southport attack in London today. The attack on 29 July left three children dead, deeply affecting the town.

Yesterday, the monarch visited Southport to express his “sympathy and empathy” for the community still reeling from the tragedy.
