Billy Ray Cyrus has successfully secured an emergency motion preventing his estranged wife, FIREROSE, from using his credit cards amidst their ongoing divorce, less than a year into their marriage. The motion, filed last month, claims that FIREROSE made nearly $97,000 in unauthorized charges.

A judge in Williamson County, Tennessee, just outside Nashville, found “no legitimate reason for [Firerose] to have access to and to make any additional charges” on Billy Ray’s credit cards, as per a legal document filed on July 10 and obtained by PEOPLE. The restraining order took effect immediately.

Billy Ray, 62, and FIREROSE, 37, were married in October 2023. The singer filed for divorce in May, citing “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct,” and alleging fraud. Since then, both have accused each other of various wrongdoings, including abuse and isolating the singer from his family.

The couple’s history dates back more than a decade when they first met on the set of Hannah Montana, where Billy Ray was working with his daughter, Miley Cyrus. FIREROSE was leaving an audition when she encountered Cyrus, who was with his German Shepherd, Tex. They reconnected in recent years and announced their engagement in late 2022, with Cyrus referring to FIREROSE as his “soulmate” and the “beautiful love of my life.” However, since the divorce filing, both have unfollowed each other on social media.

Billy Ray’s first marriage ended in 1991. He then married Tish Cyrus in 1993, a union that lasted nearly three decades before ending in early 2022. Billy Ray and Tish share five children: Brandi Cyrus, Trace Cyrus, Braison Cyrus, Noah Cyrus, and Miley Cyrus. He also has a son, Christopher Cody, from a previous relationship.
