Jujutsu Kaisen Cliffhanger Grants Megumi a Second Chance at Life

If there’s one thing Jujutsu Kaisen excels at, it’s keeping fans on edge. Since its debut in 2018, Gege Akutami’s series has never let up, delivering plot twists and major character deaths. Now, Jujutsu Kaisen is ramping things up once more. The manga has announced its end date, and this week, it left fans stunned with a teaser regarding Megumi’s future.

The revelation unfolded as Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 266 went live. Fans watched as Sukuna and Yuji engaged in a brutal battle within Yuji’s domain. Initially, it seemed Sukuna had the upper hand, but the tide quickly turned. Yuji managed to reach Megumi’s soul and reignite a spark in his friend.

Meeting a younger version of Megumi, Yuji was able to converse with his best friend due to his domain. Yuji admitted how lonely things were without Megumi, sparking the latter to fight once more. Megumi seized this opportunity to regain control of his shadows, causing Sukuna to stumble and fall into a pit. It was then that the King of Curses realized Megumi’s soul was fighting back from within their shared body, doubling Yuji’s offense from the outside.

There’s no telling how Jujutsu Kaisen will conclude this fight, but Yuji has come a long way. Previously unable to rally Megumi, now both friends are fighting fiercely to defeat Sukuna. Only time will tell how this epic battle will end, but the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom is fervently rooting for Yuji to emerge victorious.
