Julia Fox Announces She’s a Lesbian: ‘Sorry, Boys’

Julia Fox revealed she came out as a lesbian after being celibate for over two years.

On Monday, the actress openly discussed her sexuality in response to a TikTok video by user @emgwaciedawgie, who stated, “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like ‘Aww, you hate that man. You literally hate him.'”

Fox, 34, added her reaction to the end of the video, saying, “Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won’t happen again.”

Fans rallied to support her, expressing their excitement and joy. “I’m so happy for you,” one person commented, while another wrote, “This makes my heart so happy.”

The revelation may not come as a surprise to some. Fox was married to Peter Artemiev from 2018 to 2020 and had previously hinted at exploring a relationship with a woman.

“I have some gay bone [in my body] and I need to explore that a little bit more,” she said during an interview with Ziwe in 2022. She even jested, “Like, maybe my ex-boyfriends weren’t wrong when they were calling me a lesbian and complaining that I never wanted to have sex with them.”

Fox has a 3-year-old son, Valentino, with Artemiev. She briefly dated Kanye West in 2022; however, she admitted during a 2023 New York Times interview that she never had sex with West, stating, “It wasn’t really about that.”

Fox has remained celibate for over two years since her separation from West. In May, she disclosed on TikTok, “2.5 years of celibacy and never been better tbh.”
