Justin and Hailey Welcome Their First Child, Jack Blues Bieber

Jack Blues Bieber has arrived.

Justin and Hailey Bieber have welcomed their first child together, as announced on Justin’s Instagram account this past Friday. The announcement included a simple caption: “Welcome home Jack Blues Bieber.”

The post has already garnered 15.6 million likes and over 500,000 comments. The singer shared a sweet photo of the baby’s foot along with what is assumed to be Hailey’s finger.

Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, is also thrilled about her new grandson. She posted on Instagram, writing, “Oh my heart.” In the comments on Justin’s post, she expressed her excitement further: “Welcome baby Jack!! I love you so much!”

Just a month after the pregnancy announcement, Mallette shared a Father’s Day tribute to her son: “You’ve always wanted to be a dad ever since I can remember,” she wrote. “You have so much love to give. You’re gonna be the best daddy ever. You already are. LOVE YOU!!”

Baby Jack is Mallette’s first grandchild.

The news of Hailey’s pregnancy was first made public in May. Since their marriage, the couple has been relatively private. Hailey discussed her concerns about public perception of her relationship and pregnancy in an interview with W Magazine, revealing that she had faced criticism since the beginning of her relationship with Justin.

“People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy,” she told the magazine.

Justin and Hailey tied the knot in 2018 in a private courthouse ceremony. They later celebrated with a larger, elaborate family and friends ceremony in South Carolina in 2019.
