Justin Baldoni Visits Universal Studios with Family amid ‘It Ends with Us’ Drama

Justin Baldoni is focusing on family amid reports of drama with the cast of his recent film, It Ends with Us.

On Thursday, Aug. 22, the 40-year-old actor and director spent the day at Universal Studios Hollywood with his wife, Emily Baldoni, their 9-year-old daughter Maiya, and 6-year-old son Maxwell. The family’s happiness was evident as they smiled widely for several photos taken in front of the theme park’s tall white entrance gate.

One picture captures Justin and Emily, both 40, sharing a kiss, while another shows them holding their children’s hands, displaying the couple’s close-knit bond. Their visit to the theme park follows one month after the couple celebrated 11 years of marriage.

To mark their anniversary, Justin shared an Instagram photo featuring him and his wife along with a quote from the poet Rumi that read: “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” He concluded the heartfelt post by writing, “Happy 11 years my love.”

Earlier this month, Emily joined Justin at the New York City premiere of It Ends with Us. However, rumors of tension between cast members intensified following the event when fans observed that Blake Lively, Justin’s costar, posed for photos with all the main cast members except him.

Adding to the speculation, Justin did not introduce the film before the screening alongside Lively and author Colleen Hoover, whose book inspired the film. Instead, he remained notably absent from these promotional activities.

Despite being away from many group promotional engagements, Justin has been vocal about his respect and admiration for his costars during individual interviews. Nonetheless, none of the cast members have publicly addressed the rumored discord.

Justin recently hired crisis public relations manager Melissa Nathan of The Agency Group, according to a source familiar with the situation. Furthermore, a set insider informed PEOPLE that “all is not what it seems,” hinting at underlying issues. This source also mentioned that “there is much more to this story” and that the principal cast and Colleen Hoover are distancing themselves from Baldoni.

The unfolding drama surrounding It Ends with Us continues to attract attention, but for now, Justin seems content spending quality time with his family.
