Kali Uchis Announces ‘Orquídeas Parte 2’ Album with Kaytranada Remix

Kali Uchis has been relishing motherhood alongside her partner and fellow musician Don Toliver. The couple welcomed their baby boy in March, marking a new chapter in their lives.

In June, Kali Uchis delighted her fans with “Never Be Yours,” an older track from her vault. However, next week, she’s set to share a completely fresh musical experience. Taking to Instagram, Kali Uchis announced her upcoming album, Orquídeas Parte 2, and its official release date.

“Orquídeas Parte 2 next Friday 8/9,” she wrote, sending waves of excitement through her followers.

This new body of work follows her critically acclaimed album Orquídeas, which was released on streaming platforms in January.

The latter part of her post’s caption dropped a tantalizing hint about what fans can anticipate. “Young, Rich & In Love – The Kaytranada version,” she added. The accompanying clip provided a sneak peek of the infectious remix, heightening anticipation even further.

But don’t assume Orquídeas Parte 2 is merely a collection of electronic remixes of her previous tracks. Fans, eager for details, flooded the comment section with questions about the album’s sound.

“Wait, is this gonna be various remixes or just this song,” one follower asked.

“This remix and some brand-new songs, hunny,” Kali Uchis responded, confirming that her upcoming project will include both remixes and fresh, new tracks.
