Karen Shares Milestone Photo of ‘Doubling Down With the Derricos’ Triplets

Doubling Down with the Derricos star Karen Derrico shared heartwarming photos celebrating an important milestone for her triplets.

On Saturday, July 6, Karen posted on Instagram a series of photos of her daughters, Dawsyn and De’Aren, and her son, Dyver. The first few images were from their baby years, while a later picture showed the trio happily riding a scooter with their paternal grandmother, Marian “GG” Derrico.

“It’s the triplets’ birrrtthhday!!! 😘🎉🎂🥳🎈🎊🎁 the big 5!” Karen excitedly announced. “Love you babies so much and super excited to celebrate your special day! Happy birthday to everyone else celebrating today as their special day as well! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰.”

In the comments, followers couldn’t help but notice how much the triplets resemble their grandmother GG. One user remarked, “In the last picture, they really do favor GG 😍😍😍.”

Another fan added, “Awesome Dawsyn is GG’s twin! Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 babies. I remember when you were pregnant with them. 😂.”

Additionally, a follower commented, “Happiest birthday cutie pies…they have GG’s whole face 🥳🥳🥳.”

Karen and her ex-husband, Deon, have 11 other children: Darian, 18; Derrick, 13; twins Dallas and Denver, 12; quintuplets Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician, and Daiten, 10; and twins Diez and Dior, 6.

Recently, it became public knowledge that Deon and Karen filed for divorce on June 4, finalizing it two days later. They share joint physical and legal custody of their 13 minor children.

“Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children–their well-being is our priority,” they shared in a statement to Parade via TLC. “We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the good of our family.”
