Kate Middleton Seen Out with Her Kids During Cancer Treatment

Kate Middleton is not letting her health challenges overshadow quality time with her family. The Princess of Wales was spotted enjoying a playful Nerf war with her children: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, whom she shares with her husband, Prince William.

The royal family joined in on the fun at the Gone Wild Festival at Holkham Hall in Norfolk, which featured an exhilarating Nerf battle. Speaking to The Sun, Norfolk Nerf Parties boss Georgina Barron recalled being summoned to the production team’s office with the news that a very special VIP family wished to participate in Nerf wars. It turned out to be the Prince and Princess of Wales along with their three children, accompanied by friends and other family members.

Barron enthusiastically shared her observations, “The Princess of Wales grabbed a Nerf gun, ran around, and played stuck in the mud with her children.” She also noted the cheerfulness of young Prince Louis, who excitedly exclaimed, “Come on, Nerf or nothing. Let’s do this!” According to Barron, Middleton fully engaged in the fun, running around and playing with her kids, making it a wholesome family day reminiscent of any other normal family.

Earlier this year in March, Middleton revealed that she had undergone abdominal surgery two months prior after doctors discovered the presence of cancer. Since then, she has spent months away from the public eye to focus on her treatment and recovery from the surgery.

In June, Middleton provided a detailed update on her health alongside a photo of herself leaning against a tree near a pond. She shared her progress and the reality of going through chemotherapy. “I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days, you feel weak, tired, and you have to give in to your body resting,” she wrote. “But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.”
