Kate Middleton’s Outing Steals the Spotlight, But What About Prince George?

While royal enthusiasts continue to buzz about Kate Middleton’s surprise appearance at the Balmoral estate over the weekend, less attention has been given to her eldest son, Prince George, who also made an unexpected public appearance recently.

In a photo shared by People, the Princess of Wales, 42, was spotted en route to church donning a dark brown Suffolk Fedora from Hicks & Brown and a beige Marlborough Trench Coat from Holland Cooper. The snapshot also featured her husband, Prince William, and their 11-year-old son, Prince George, riding in the car with her.

The last public appearance of Prince George before this was in July when he attended the Euro 2024 finals against Spain with his father. The young prince shares his father’s enthusiasm for soccer, with Prince William serving as the president of the Football Association. During the match, numerous photos captured the father-son duo cheering for Team England when they scored their first and only goal. One memorable image from the game shows Prince George mirroring his father’s style, wearing a blue tailored suit and a striped necktie.

Since then, Prince George has maintained a relatively low profile. Over the past few weeks, he’s been enjoying summer vacation with his parents and his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

With summer winding down, Prince George is preparing to start the new school year at Lambrook School, an independent preparatory institution in Berkshire. Since 2022, he has been attending Lambrook along with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Before Lambrook, Prince George was a student at Willcocks Nursery and Thomas’s Battersea School.
