Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza Bring Chaos in Marvel’s ‘Agatha All Along’ Trailer

Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza caused quite a stir at D23, performing a song from their upcoming Disney+ series “Agatha All Along” while also unveiling a new trailer.

The new promo for the Marvel Television project premiered Friday at the D23 expo in Anaheim, California. The series, created by Jac Schaeffer, is a spinoff from Disney+’s 2021 hit show “WandaVision.” Fans can start streaming “Agatha All Along” on September 18, with the first two episodes dropping that day.

“Agatha All Along” sees Hahn reprising her role as Agatha Harkness. The series kicks off with Agatha finding herself powerless after a teenager frees her from a spell and challenges her to endure the trials of the Witches’ Road.

The cast for the series is packed with talent, including Patti LuPone, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, and Debra Jo Rupp.

“I miss the glory days,” Hahn says in the show’s initial teaser trailer released last month. “She took every bit of power I had, and I can be that witch again.”

Executive producers for the series include Schaeffer, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and Mary Livanos. The directors for “Agatha All Along” include Schaeffer, Rachel Goldberg, and Gandja Montiero.

Disney first revealed the series title and premiere date at their upfront presentation in May.

Hahn has been busy lately with her role in Hulu’s “Tiny Beautiful Things,” which earned her a third career Emmy nomination. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Hahn shared how she went straight from wrapping up “Tiny Beautiful Things” to working on “Agatha All Along.” Despite the busy schedule, she noted it was an awesome experience although it meant spending a significant amount of time away from home.
