Katy Perry Enjoys Ibiza Beaches for ‘Lifetimes’ Music Video

Katy Perry is ready for a “lifetime” of love! The pop star, 39, has just released the second single for her upcoming sixth studio album, *143*.

“Lifetimes” follows her July release of “Woman’s World,” both of which mark the end of her four-year hiatus from releasing new music. Her last album, *Smile*, was released in 2020.

In her latest video, Perry heads straight to Ibiza to party on the Spanish island.

The Stillz-directed music video opens with Perry on a ferry sailing toward Ibiza, anticipating an eventful vacation filled with partying, swimming, and frolicking on the beach with friends.

Perry is seen in several different looks — including a bedazzled butterfly top and a bright red matching set — dancing at various bars and clubs, and even performing her own DJ sets. Dancing to the beat of her new single, Perry sings about loving for a lifetime on the beaches of Ibiza at sunset.

As the video ends, Perry rides on the back of a motorcycle with an unidentified man. It then quickly cuts to her back on the ferry, where she’s a bit less put together than her arrival, cradling a large water bottle with a vomit bag in her lap.

The Grammy nominee sings: “Baby, you and me for infinity / My eternity (My eternity) / Baby, you and me for infinity / My eternity, yeah (My eternity) / I’ll love you for, I’ll love you for life / Lifetimes / I’ll love you for, I’ll love you for life / Lifetimes / I know you feel it / Can you believe it? / I’m gonna love you ’til the end / And then repeat it.”

The pop star shared in a press release that the song is about “eternal love.”

“It’s about finding that one deep and satisfying love of your life,” Perry said. “A soulmate doesn’t always have to come in the form of a partner – it can come in all different ways, a child, a best friend, a pet.”

Perry said her soulmate is her daughter, Daisy Dove, whom she shares with Orlando Bloom. She asks her almost four-year-old every night, “Will you find me in every lifetime?”

“She says ‘yes,’ and I feel found,” Perry said. “You’ll find each other, over and over again, for lifetimes.”

The *Teenage Dream* singer told *The Sun* that her love for Daisy filled a missing part of her life: “The love I was missing, every mountain I climbed looking for this view, all this love, it came to me when she entered my life.”

Perry’s upcoming album, *143*, will drop on Friday, Sept. 20.
