Kelly Bensimon Prioritizes Family on What Would Have Been Her Wedding Weekend

Kelly Bensimon is spending quality time with her family shortly after calling off her wedding to Scott Litner.

On Saturday, June 29, the Real Housewives of New York City alum, 56, shared photos on her Instagram Stories, showcasing moments with loved ones in the Hamptons on what would have been her wedding weekend.

In the first photo, Kelly is seen sitting in the back of a hatchback car with Zander Byers. The caption reads “Family first.” In the image, she dons pink shorts paired with a black and white striped long-sleeved T-shirt. Byers sits beside her with his arm around her shoulder, dressed in a red and yellow long-sleeved polo shirt and dark-colored pants.

Another snapshot shared shows the reality star on a boat with her 26-year-old daughter, Sea Louise, and a dog. The tender moment is complemented by the song “Summer Breeze” by Seals & Crofts playing in the background.

The day before, Kelly posted a cheerful photo on Instagram of herself smiling in a pool. Sporting a white triangular bikini top, she posed with her arms above her head, captioning the image, “POV: Diving into this weekend with a smile…”

Kelly Bensimon had announced the cancellation of her wedding to Scott Litner on June 25. The next day, she exclusively told PEOPLE, “Ultimately, my decision is nobody’s business, but I understand that there is speculation and gossip, and I want to put an end to all of it. To be clear, he refused to sign a prenuptial agreement, and I refused to marry him. Full stop.”

The couple was initially slated to marry on Saturday, June 29. Explaining her stance further, Kelly shared, “He thought that I would enter this union without legal protections in place, that I would leave everything to faith. But I’ve worked really, really hard as a single mother and have always made smart decisions for myself and my family, and that will continue.”

Kelly, who has built a successful career as a real estate mogul, got engaged to Scott Litner in July 2023 while vacationing in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
