Kelly Ripa Sneaks Into Ryan Seacrest’s Dressing Room and Films It All

If you’ve ever wondered what Ryan Seacrest’s dressing room looks like, today is your lucky day—and you have Kelly Ripa to thank for the inside scoop.

The 53-year-old TV personality was recently honored as a Disney Legend at D23’s Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Following a few touching remarks from Seacrest, the former “All My Children” star made her way backstage. Ever the curious friend, Ripa decided to sneak into Seacrest’s dressing room to see his snack stash.

She documented the escapade on her Instagram Story, saying, “Here we are, outside of Ryan’s dressing room, and I feel like I should break in and see what kind of snacks he has.”

Upon entering, Ripa offered a quick tour of the room, pointing out some cozy armchairs and a small makeup station.

But it didn’t take long for her to head to the snack table. Zooming in on the food, she commented, “Okay, literally, pita bread, which he’s not going to eat…hummus, which he probably dipped his finger in.”

Turning her attention to the fruit basket, which was missing a piece of fruit, she speculated, “Maybe he had an orange.”

Ripa concluded her snack inspection with a disappointed, “Very disappointing,” and aimed the camera back at herself.

In a follow-up clip, she thought she had found some promising snacks in an Erewhon bag, only to discover it was being reused for Seacrest’s clothes. She captioned the video, “Thought I found good snacks @ryanseacrest.” Seacrest’s response was a repost of the story with an “LOL” gif.

Outside of her backstage snack hunt, Ripa delivered a heartfelt speech after receiving her special honor. She quipped, “Ryan, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m just so glad you finally found something else to host.”

Ripa went on to reflect, “It is a very rare thing, anybody can tell you, in this industry, to be employed consistently by the same company for 34 years, it is my great good fortune. I owe everything to Disney.”

In a special Q&A with Disney Legends, Ripa discussed how Seacrest’s tribute added to the significance of the milestone. “It’s special that Disney does recognize our co-dependence with each other, and I think it makes sense,” she shared. “We can only give and receive awards from each other, so it is very special. And it gives me a chance to harass him on a public stage, which I never get tired of doing.”

Perhaps, after this, Seacrest might upgrade his snack game—especially with Kelly Ripa around.
