Kerry Washington Stuns in Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang Channels Tennis Whites at 2024 U.S. Open

The 2024 U.S. Open welcomed back the top tennis players in the world for the final Grand Slam of the year on Monday in New York City. Alongside the venerated and decorated athletes, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center played host to a string of A-list stars and high-profile celebrities, all bringing their A-game style for the tournament.

Ahead, see what stars like Kerry Washington, Vera Wang, Misty Copeland and more wore to the 2024 U.S. Open.

Kerry Washington opted for a head-to-toe Ralph Lauren look. The “Scandal” alum wore a navy button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows and the first few buttons on the front placket undone, revealing a similarly colored shirt. Washington paired the top with white, high-waisted shorts and a camel-colored belt. She completed the ensemble with pointed-toe heels in a similar shade of camel and carried a small, top-handle bag.

Misty Copeland graced the event in a black-and-white attire. The dancer chose a short wool crepe dress with satin details courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana. The minidress featured a white Peter Pan collar with coordinated cuffs on the three-quarter-length sleeves and a white band for a defined waist.

Designer Vera Wang took inspiration from classic tennis whites for her look. She wore a maxiskirt and a coordinated sleeveless top with a V neckline, complemented by a string of pearls from Chanel.

Lin-Manuel Miranda and his wife Vanessa Nadal also made an appearance at the U.S. Open. The “Hamilton” star went for a navy suit, while Vanessa Nadal chose a dress with an asymmetric design and stripes of red, white, blue, and yellow by Rosie Assoulin.

Katie Couric was spotted in a white midi skirt paired with a sleeveless Brunello Cucinelli blouse that had a rounded neckline.

The 2024 U.S. Open will run through September 8. The tennis tournament is the final Grand Slam of the year, where top players return to New York City to compete at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Coco Gauff of the U.S. and Novak Djokovic of Serbia will play to defend their respective 2023 women’s and men’s singles championship titles.
