Khloé Kardashian Reveals Tatum’s Dinosaur-Themed Birthday Celebration

Khloé Kardashian went all out for her son Tatum’s birthday!

On Sunday, July 28, the reality TV star, 40, shared a behind-the-scenes look at Tatum’s second birthday party on her Instagram Stories.

The toddler had a dinosaur-themed celebration complete with themed decor, snacks and lots of fun activities.

The first video showed off the entrance to the house, decorated with a blue, green, pale pink and white balloon arch that led to a sign above the door that read, “Tatum Two-a-Saurus,” and a large dinosaur statue.

The clip is set to an instrumental song from the Jurassic Park soundtrack.

Next, Khloé showed her mom Kris Jenner’s arrival to the event, calling her “the legend.” Jenner, 68, posed in an all-white outfit in front of the grand entrance and declared, “Can’t wait to see little Tatum!”

The next few clips show a close-up of the toddler’s three-tier birthday cake and other decorations, including a bunch of balloons with dark spots on them to resemble dinosaur eggs, a large dinosaur display with a sign that read “please don’t feed” and leaf-shaped floatation devices in the pool.

There also were other sections labeled “Dino Dig” and “T-Rex Zone.”

A closer look at the dessert setup by Cake Gourmet Sugar Service revealed a large chocolate dinosaur egg, glazed cake donuts with a blue drizzle and leaf design, themed cookies, dipped rice krispie treats and chocolate nests with small eggs inside.

Additional treats included tortilla chips and guacamole, dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, french fries and several fruit trays.

Khloé also highlighted her sister Kim Kardashian’s presence at Tatum’s birthday bash. She shared a video of the SKIMS founder in a shimmery gold gown, standing with her daughter Chicago. “The Golden Globe is here,” Khloé said in the clip.

More photos on Khloé’s Instagram Stories showcased the variety of activities at the party, including a painting table, a pretend “fossil excavation site,” a Stoney Clover Lane pop-up that featured bags with customizable patches, a dinosaur egg piñata and a build-your-own slime station.

The mother-of-two is known for her lavish parties. In 2023, Khloé shared a look at her Octonauts-themed party for her daughter True, who is now 6. The celebration featured balloon arches, a dessert wall and a tide pool filled with stingrays, starfish and a bamboo shark.

While Tatum is clearly obsessed with dinosaurs, the Good American founder shared another one of her son’s interests earlier this month. In a video on her Instagram Stories, Tatum could be seen staring at a television screen while Danny Go! was playing.

“Mesmerized by Danny Go,” she wrote on the clip.

Khloé welcomed Tatum via surrogate in 2022. She shares her two kids with her NBA star ex Tristan Thompson.
