Khloe Kardashian Still Considers Tristan Thompson ‘Love of Her Life’

Khloe Kardashian might still harbor romantic feelings for Tristan Thompson. According to a source, the former couple, who officially split in 2022, has a unique connection, with Khloe considering Tristan as the “love of her life.”

The source revealed that the Good American founder has “turned down so many guys” and has attempted dating others, but has struggled to connect as deeply with anyone else. “She still sees him as the love of her life, but it’s a touchy subject because he doesn’t want to mess things up again, so he’s keeping her in the friend zone,” the source added.

Khloe and Tristan’s relationship history has been tumultuous. They began dating in 2016 but faced multiple breaks due to Tristan’s infidelities. In 2018, just days before the birth of their daughter True, Tristan was seen making out with two women at a club. The following year brought another scandal when Tristan cheated with Jordyn Woods, who was Kylie Jenner’s best friend at the time. Kylie is Khloe’s youngest sister. Their relationship suffered another blow in 2021 when it was revealed that Tristan had fathered a child with model Maralee Nichols. He and Khloe welcomed their son Tatum via surrogate in June 2022 but officially split a few months before their son’s birth.

Regarding Tristan’s 2021 indiscretion, a source told E! News, “They had been working through the cheating rumors for weeks, but Khloe told Tristan he lost all of her trust, and the relationship could not be repaired. Khloe really tried but ultimately felt too betrayed by him. She’s done and says she will not go back.”

In season four of The Kardashians, Tristan confronted his mistakes, apologizing to each of Khloe’s family members for his past actions. “Being able to take accountability is always the first step in changing. Also our kids, they watch our actions, not words,” Kourtney Kardashian told Tristan in the show.

Tristan responded, “Exactly, I wanted to be a good example to them. When it comes to True and having that conversation, it’s on me to have that conversation because Daddy failed you and Mommy. Mommy didn’t fail you, Tutu.”

Khloe discussed her relationship with Tristan in the SHE MD podcast in June. “He did make mistakes,” she admitted to hosts Dr. Thais Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney. “He’s the nicest guy and we get along so well now. We’re not meant to be together, but he was meant to be the father of these kids. And we do get along so well, and I’m really grateful for that because my parents got along so well.”
