Kim Kardashian Criticizes Khloé for FaceTiming Daughter True During Vacation

Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian are still at odds over a parenting decision.

After last week’s disagreement on The Kardashians, Kim and Khloé are still tangled in a dispute about Khloé prioritizing her children, 6-year-old True and 2-year-old Tatum.

In this week’s episode, the sisters were at a restaurant during a family trip to Aspen. Joining them were their mom Kris Jenner, her boyfriend Corey Gamble, and their younger sister Kendall Jenner. Khloé FaceTimed her daughter to say goodnight, a move that irked her family members.

“I’m at a restaurant. You think I look funny? I’m wearing a furry hat,” Khloé said to True. The scene then cut to a confessional where Kim expressed her frustration. “Here we go. She’s just so stuck on what’s going on at home that she can’t have a good time,” Kim said. “We don’t get to do this very often anymore. It’s rare that we go on these family vacations and I just want Khloé to enjoy the dinner, enjoy the moment, be present with us now.”

Kris echoed Kim’s sentiment in her own confessional, saying, “Okay Khloé, I love you and I’m not taking sides, but Kim’s got a point. Get off your phone. We’re right here.”

Back at the dinner scene, Khloé told True, “Okay, I love you. Who’s so cute?” Then, Kris quipped, “Bye, see ya, gotta go, bye.”

Khloé responded, “Just because you don’t want to call your kids to say goodnight…” Kris replied, “I’m with my kids. We’re out at dinner. Come on.”

In her confessional, Khloé addressed the spat. “Wait, I’m supposed to be more present, but Kim hasn’t looked up from her phone the entire dinner? She’s scrolling Instagram… Okay, I’ll be more present,” she said, pointing out the irony of using her phone to check in with her kids versus Kim watching social media instead of “enjoying the moment.”

Khloé added, “This is why I don’t like to leave the gates [of my home] because I just feel like I get attacked every second of it, just immediately.”

During her fight with Kim before the vacation, Khloé told her sister she was wary of going on the trip because she had a feeling Kim would pick on her the whole time—and it turned out exactly as she expected. While it’s essential for family members to be present during trips, it’s hard to understand why it’s so bothersome for a mother to want to talk to her kids before bedtime. It seems like the hallmark of a good mother, and many share this more forgiving point of view.
