Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, John Cena, Nick Jonas, and Priyanka Chopra were among the celebrities invited to the grand wedding of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani. Additionally, notable figures such as Adele, Drake, Lana Del Rey, David Beckham, and former British prime ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair were also present, according to local news sources.

The wedding festivities in Mumbai will span four days, starting with a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony and followed by a lavish reception that will extend into the weekend.

The Kardashian sisters embraced traditional Indian attire. Kim, 43, shared images on her Instagram story showing them wearing Indian outfits. Kim donned a red lehenga embellished with beads and sequins, accessorized with diamond jewelry. However, her choice of red attire is traditionally reserved for Hindu brides.

Khloé chose a gold and white lehenga with coordinating accessories. Videos shared by Kim showed the siblings preparing for the event and interacting with other guests. In her posts, Kim mentioned that their trip was also being filmed for their reality show, hinting at an episode titled “Kim and Khloé Take India.”

Other celebrities also embraced the traditional dress code. Priyanka Chopra was seen in a yellow lehenga set, while Nick Jonas wore a pink sherwani. John Cena sported a blue sherwani with silver accents, capturing the festive spirit with a wide smile and peace sign.

The celebrations are hosted at the sprawling Ambani family properties, including the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. This weekend’s events are part of a string of elaborate pre-wedding festivities that have unfolded over the past months.

The wedding, reportedly costing over $600 million according to The Hollywood Reporter, is no less than a spectacle. Mukesh Ambani, with a net worth of $116 billion, oversees conglomerate Reliance Industries, which spans numerous industries from petrochemicals to telecommunications.

Anant Ambani, who is now heading Reliance’s renewable energy sector, also manages a substantial animal rescue center in Gujarat. The bride, Radhika Merchant, 29, is the daughter of pharmaceutical businessman Viren Merchant and works with her family’s company, Encore Healthcare.

Leading up to the wedding, multiple star-studded celebrations were organized. In March, a three-day prenuptial bash attracted 1,200 guests, including former world leaders, tech giants, Bollywood stars, and musical performances by renowned artists like Rihanna and Akon. The event was attended by notable figures like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates.

A month later, the Ambanis hosted a luxurious three-day cruise from Italy to France, featuring performances from stars such as Katy Perry and Pitbull.

Just last week, Justin Bieber performed at a pre-wedding concert, which included Bollywood performers Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and Salman Khan. Bieber’s performance fee for the Sangeet ceremony was reported to be $10 million.
