Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Schedule Divorce Trial Date

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have a scheduled date for their divorce trial following a series of ups and downs in their relationship. According to legal documents, the estranged couple will appear at Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court on November 5 and 6, 2024.

Zolciak, 46, and Biermann, 38, have until September 25 to reach an agreement through mediation before their divorce trial in November. The news was first reported by TMZ.

The couple has experienced a tumultuous period since May 2023, when they initially called it quits after nearly 12 years of marriage. At that time, court documents revealed Zolciak described the marriage as “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”

The first divorce filing was dropped in July 2023, but Biermann filed again in August. In September, documents showed that Zolciak had filed to dismiss Biermann’s second divorce filing, citing their recent sexual encounters as proof that their marriage was not “irretrievably broken.”

In the documents, Zolciak detailed that she and Biermann had engaged in marital relations on multiple occasions since the divorce petition, most recently on September 7, 2023. By November, the pair hinted they were back together, as Zolciak reverted to using her married name on Instagram, switching from @kimzbiermann to @kimzolciakbiermann.

However, a court order in December indicated that the divorce was still moving forward. Superior Court Judge Shermela J. Williams ordered the couple to complete mediation and reach a settlement by January 31, 2024, as per documents obtained by TMZ and Us Weekly.

The court noted, “As there are numerous unresolved issues, based upon review of the record and applicable authority, the Court finds that the Parties’ interests and the orderly management of the Court’s docket would be served by referring the above-styled case to mediation. Both Parties must attend the mediation session.”

Among the unresolved issues, it was reported in May 2024 that Zolciak had called the police on Biermann in April for allegedly stealing her phone and locking himself in her room, according to a 911 call and police body cam footage obtained by TMZ. On April 26, Zolciak reported to 911 that Biermann violated a December 2023 court order requiring them to stay in separate sides of the house.

The couple, who married in 2011, share six children. They have twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 10, sons Kash, 11, and Kroy Jagger, 13. Zolciak’s two older daughters, Brielle, 27, and Ariana, 22, were legally adopted by Biermann in 2013.
