Kimora Lee Simmons Celebrates Daughter Aoki’s 22nd Birthday Bash

Kimora Lee Simmons’ youngest daughter is all grown up!

On Friday, Aug. 16, the entrepreneur, 49, celebrated daughter Aoki Simmons turning 22 with a heartfelt post on Instagram, in which she praised her many qualities.

“Happy birthday to my darling, sweet, beautiful, smart, long legged, amazing, gorgeous baby @aokileesimmons!,” Kimora began her caption.

“Cheers to you! We are all so amazed by you! Blessings today and many more to come! Hold your head high and continue to shine! I love you so much! 😘💋💕🎉🎂🥂❤,” she added.

Alongside the message, Kimora shared a carousel of images that included professional modeling shots, snaps of the mother and daughter when Aoki was a toddler and when she was a young girl, a more recent shot of the young adult sitting on a boat in a bikini and a cute photo of herself, Aoki and her sister, Ming Lee, 24, on a catwalk with their mom when they were kids.

Ming Lee also celebrated her younger sister’s birthday on social media, posting several Instagram Stories dedicated to Aoki.

In one sweet black and white snap, the two sisters posed side-by-side when they were younger, both sporting big grins. “Happy birthday to my baby @aokileesimmons,” Ming Lee wrote over the photo, adding two sparkle emojis and a blue heart.

Next, she posted a shot of herself holding her little sister as a baby, adding several cute emojis. Lastly, she also reposted one of Aoki’s modeling shots.

Kimora shares both Aoki and Ming Lee with ex Russell Simmons, as well as sons Kenzo, 15, and Wolfe, 9, with Tim Leissner. She also welcomed son Gary by adoption in 2020 when he was 10 years old.

The mom of five has much to be proud of when it comes to her birthday girl Aoki. In May 2023, she graduated from Harvard University after being accepted to study there in 2019, at just 16 years old.

As well as being a Harvard graduate, Aoki is also a model, having recently walked in Oscar De La Renta’s Pre-Spring 2025 show in New York City in June, and she often posts shoots she has taken part in on Instagram.

Aoki has also appeared on covers of magazines like Teen Vogue, Rollacoaster and Flaunt, and she’s worked with fashion houses including Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and Dolce & Gabbana.
