Kourtney Kardashian’s Summer Co-Parenting Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick

Kourtney Kardashian spent the start of 2024 in Australia with her children, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 9, but her oldest son, Mason, 14, decided to stay home with his dad, Scott Disick. Given the long period she was apart from Mason, this summer holds extra significance as Kourtney is now spending extended time with all three of her and Scott’s children. She has been sharing glimpses of their special moments together on Instagram.

Kourtney took her three oldest children on a trip to Idaho, where they enjoyed paddle boarding on the lakes, playing games by the fire, and riding jet skis. She captioned a carousel of photos with: “Rainbow sunsets, sandwiches to go, mancala, electronic dance music, Christmas trees, breakfast by the fireplace, golf cart adventures, Frank Sinatra, making dinners together, taboo and moonshadows forever.”

It’s not clear if Kourtney and her husband Travis Barker’s baby, Rocky, joined the family trip. There’s a possibility that the little one stayed home with his dad.

Since welcoming Rocky, Kourtney has been focusing on dedicating individual time to each of her children. On the show “The Kardashians,” she shared that she loves trying to spend one-on-one time with each of her kids. This dedicated time with her family in Australia meant a lot to her. Reflecting on the experience, she mentioned, “We had such a good time together, just being in a house all together. We just had the best time, really good family time.”

Although Mason’s decision to stay at home with Scott saddened her, Kourtney understands that he’s growing older and wants to spend time with his friends and his dad.

Scott, co-parenting alongside Kourtney, is also making an effort to give his children an unforgettable summer. He set up a rooftop cinema at his home to keep them entertained and renovated the bathrooms to better accommodate the kids.

While Kourtney enjoys one-on-one time with her children, she has admitted that the chaos stemming from all the Kardashian cousins can be overwhelming. On the season finale of their reality show, Kourtney, 45, commented, “I love jumping into the chaos of all the cousins and all the sisters, and I love jumping out and going back to my peaceful place at home.”

Kourtney also spoke about scaling back her professional commitments to focus on her family. She expressed gratitude for her ability to make choices that prioritize raising her kids, saying, “I’m so grateful I can choose to not work as much and focus on raising my kids.”

With the summer just beginning, it’s exciting to see what other adventures Kourtney and her family have in store.
