Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars Release New Song ‘Die With a Smile’: Stream Now

Two of the world’s biggest music artists, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, have joined forces to release a new song titled “Die With a Smile” along with its music video. The release happened at midnight ET on Friday, August 15.

The exciting collaboration took fans by surprise, as the musicians only announced the project’s existence less than 12 hours before its release. Lady Gaga shared the cover art on her social media, showing her and Mars in matching retro red-and-blue outfits. She captioned it with, “WHILE YOU WAIT TILL LG7…‘DIE WITH A SMILE’ a duet with @brunomars ❤️‍🔥”.

A hint of the collaboration emerged two days prior when Lady Gaga posted a video of herself playing piano while wearing a T-shirt that featured Bruno Mars’ face. Fans quickly connected the dots, especially after noticing her interaction on Mars’ Instagram using emojis.

Gaga’s last solo music venture was her 2020 album Chromatica, whereas Mars’ last album 24K Magic is approaching its eight-year anniversary. Chromatica topped the Billboard 200 chart, while 24K Magic peaked at No. 2.

Fans of Lady Gaga can be excited about her plans to release another album soon. She’s teased this multiple times on her social media and even played clips of two new songs for her fans outside her hotel in Paris. This occurred when she was in town to perform during the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony.
