Lady Gaga is engaged!

The singer, 38, and her longtime boyfriend, entrepreneur and tech investor Michael Polansky, are set to be married. She revealed the news to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a TikTok posted by Attal on Sunday, July 28, Gaga can be heard introducing Polansky as “my fiancé” as the trio watched a swimming event together.

Reps for both Gaga and Polansky have been contacted for comments.

Gaga and Polansky were first romantically linked in 2020 when they were photographed kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. They went public with their relationship during a PDA-filled weekend in Miami for Super Bowl 2020, just weeks later.

At that time, Gaga shared a photo on Instagram of them cuddled up on a yacht, writing, “We had so much fun in Miami.”

A source close to the 13-time Grammy Award winner later told PEOPLE that the couple quarantined together during the early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic and grew close while hunkered down at Gaga’s house.

In January 2021, when Gaga was invited to perform at President Joe Biden’s inauguration, Polansky was by her side. An insider said Gaga introduced him to people backstage at the event as “my boyfriend.”

Later in 2021, Gaga made a rare comment about her relationship in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, following the recovery of her dogs Koji and Gustav after they were taken during an attack on her dog walker.

“My dogs and the man that I love are my whole life,” she told the outlet, referring to Polansky.

By November 2021, a source told PEOPLE that while the two didn’t “seem rushed to get engaged,” they were already acting “like a married couple.”

The pair, who share a passion for charitable work, also enjoy teaming up on their philanthropic endeavors. They have worked together to fundraise for various causes, including the One World: Together at Home concert, which the “Bad Romance” singer organized. Gaga also revealed in an interview with MSNBC’s Morning Joe that Polansky was building an app for her Born This Way Foundation, which supports mental health initiatives.

Over the years, Gaga and Polansky have often been seen out together. In October 2023, after the House of Gucci star made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live, the couple stepped out to the cast afterparty, holding hands as they arrived.

To celebrate her 38th birthday in March 2024, the couple joined a group of friends at a casual prix-fixe dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif. A source told PEOPLE that Gaga and Polansky “looked very happy together” at the intimate gathering.

“He let her shine and made sure she had everything she needed,” the insider said.

“She was smiling and laughing all night,” they added. “It was a fun celebration.”

Gaga was previously engaged to Christian Carino. They split in early 2019 after two years together. In February 2015, she got engaged to Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kinney, but they called off the engagement the following year.
