Lady Gaga Engaged to Michael Polansky

Lady Gaga is engaged!

After a glamorous performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, the star revealed to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal that she and longtime boyfriend Michael Polansky are set to be married. She introduced Polansky as “my fiancé” while the trio watched a swimming event together.

Gaga—whose real name is Stefani Germanotta—was first linked to Polansky in 2020, when the couple were photographed kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. Just a few weeks later, they officially made their relationship public with a PDA-filled weekend in Miami for the 2020 Super Bowl.

Since then, it seems the duo has been inseparable. They even quarantined together during the early phase of the pandemic, which allowed them to grow closer.

Polansky, an entrepreneur and tech investor, also appears to share his fiancé’s passion for charitable work. The couple has worked together to fundraise for various causes. Gaga told MSNBC that Polansky was building an app for her Born This Way Foundation, which supports mental health initiatives.

“Everyone really loves Michael, and Lady Gaga is very happy with him,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in 2021. “He’s different from other guys she’s dated in the past because he’s very outwardly endearing and loving and has an old-school gentleman vibe about him.”

According to the source, Polansky “truly courts” the pop star, much to her approval. “She loves manly men who take the lead, and Michael is definitely that. She feels like a princess in their relationship. She has been somewhat private about their relationship and wants to protect it.”

Gaga was previously engaged to Christian Carino, although they split in early 2019 after two years together. In February 2015, she got engaged to Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kinney, but the pair broke off the engagement the following year.
