Lady Gaga Flaunts $500K Engagement Ring at Red Carpet Debut with Fiancé

Lady Gaga’s engagement ring is turning heads. The diamond solitaire set in platinum reportedly cost her fiancé, Michael Polansky, a hefty $578,000, but it was worth every penny.

Lady Gaga inadvertently revealed her engagement at the 2024 Paris Olympics earlier this summer. While attending a swimming event, she introduced Michael to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal as “my fiancé,” letting the news slip out.

Now, while celebrating the premiere of her new film “Joker: Folie a Deux” at the Venice Film Festival, Gaga proudly displayed her stunning ring.

The ring was the focal point of her ensemble for the red carpet. The singer-turned-actress wore an all-black custom Dior Haute Couture dress, featuring a plunging velvet bodice and a contrasting voluminous silk and velvet skirt with dramatic pleating.

The ring is an eight-carat, oval-cut diamond solitaire set in platinum.

She completed her look with a 21-year-old lace Philip Treacy horned headpiece from his fall 2001 couture collection, along with matching Tiffany & Co. earrings, necklace, and bracelet. To top it off, she added silk platform heeled boots.

The exact timing of Michael’s proposal remains unclear, but Gaga was spotted wearing the ring as early as April while walking around West Hollywood in Los Angeles.

Gaga and Michael’s romance began in 2019. They fueled relationship rumors in 2020 when they were seen sharing a kiss at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas.

They went public with their relationship shortly after, enjoying a weekend getaway in Miami for Super Bowl 2020. Gaga even shared a sweet selfie of them together on a yacht.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought them closer, and Michael was by Gaga’s side when she performed at President Joe Biden’s inauguration in Washington, D.C., in 2021.

Michael graduated from Harvard in 2006 and is the co-founder of the Parker Foundation alongside Sean Parker, known for founding Napster and Facebook.

The philanthropic organization focuses on four key areas: Life Sciences, Global Public Health, Civic Engagement, and the Arts. They work only in areas where they have unique insights and can bring valuable contributions to the table.

Michael has also accompanied Gaga to various industry events. Her 38th birthday in March 2024 was another special occasion shared with close friends at the famed Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica.

Before Michael, Gaga was engaged to talent agent Christian Carino and also to “Chicago Fire” actor Taylor Kinney. She had a five-year relationship with Kinney before ending their engagement in 2016.
