Lainey Wilson Reveals Details About Her Secret Boyfriend

True love can be hard to find. Many people spend years looking for that special person to spend the rest of their lives with. When they find them, they hold on tight. And even though everything feels right, some people guard their hearts for a while just to be 100% sure.

Celebrity romances are often viewed through a critical lens by the general public. Fans often feel entitled to all the information about their favorite celebs’ private lives even when they want to keep their love lives under wraps. Lainey Wilson, 32, is in a relationship with former NFL Quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges, 28. But for the first 2.5 years, fans had no idea.

The country singer told the Taste Of Country Nights, On Demand radio show that she was thrilled to share her life with fans.

“It’s really cool to be able to start sharing that side of my life. Cause for a long time, I kept him on the [down low]. I wanted to see if he was actually gonna be around to stay. You know what I’m saying?”

Lainey Wilson, who is currently on tour, also stars in Yellowstone. Her career is busy, but she said she and Duck are in this for the long haul, “But he ain’t going nowhere. I ain’t got rid of him yet,” she laughed.

And while the pair are madly in love, she stands firm that they’re just dating.

“I think [an engagement] needs to be during a season of our life where we really have the time to like, enjoy it.”

Lainey joked that they haven’t had a secret engagement and that if anyone is going to propose, it’s going to be her. They aren’t quite ready for that yet.
