Lainey Wilson’s New Single “4X4XU” Now Hitting Country Radio

Another future hit from Lainey Wilson is headed to country radio. The Louisiana native released her *Whirlwind* album this past Friday, and she has a new single hitting the country radio airwaves in “4X4XU,” which will officially impact on September 3rd.

Written by Lainey along with Jon Decious and Aaron Raitiere, “4X4XU” is a love song about finding “home” no matter where you’re at in the world, as long as you’re with the one you love. It’s pretty rare to get a more stripped-back, love song like this from her, and Lainey previously said that she thinks it could be her biggest song yet.

“I’m so excited for everyone to finally have their hands on ‘4x4xU.’ This song is about finding that someone that gives you the comfort and peace of home anywhere in the world as long as you’re by their side. Thank you to the incredible Dano Cerny for directing this video and bringing the vision to life, and to all of my collaborators on this record for being a part of what I think could be my biggest song yet.”

Of course, she’s scored #1’s on the radio before with songs like “Things a Man Oughta Know,” “Heart Like a Truck,” “Watermelon Moonshine,” and most recently, “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.” I don’t see why this one won’t find its way to the top of the charts too, and if you haven’t seen the music video yet, you can check it out here:
