Lake Charles Spotlighted on Food Network This Sunday, July 14th

Lake Charles, Louisiana will be featured on a national stage this weekend with food as the star of the show. You might remember when the Food Network visited Lake Charles a few months ago to film. The episode has been edited and is ready to air this weekend across the United States.

The show, called The Great Food Truck Race, will include an episode part of Season 17 titled “Games on the Gulf: Pirates’ Booty.” This episode, the third of the season, will be set at the Lake Charles Event Center, showcasing different food trucks from the region.

According to Visit Lake Charles’ Facebook post:

Our city is steamin’ hot on Food Network this Sunday, July 14th at 7 pm CST! See Lake Charles shine with thousands of hungry customers and witness the food trucks rise (or sink) to the challenge.

Join the swashbucklin’ fun of Season 17, Episode 3: “Games on the Gulf: Pirates’ Booty.” Watch as host Tyler Florence throws down a plundering challenge for the food trucks, judged by a crew of hungry foodie pirates! –Visit Lake Charles

Be sure to set your DVR or Tivo to record the show so you don’t miss it. The show is set to air three times on the Food Network, starting Sunday, July 14th, 2024. The air times are:

  • Sunday, July 14th at 7:00 pm Central
