Lara Spencer’s Rare Family Photo with Her Grown-Up Kids Has Fans Talking

Lara Spencer is having a delightful summer in Nantucket, Massachusetts, as she enjoys quality time with her family. Sharing these cherished moments on Instagram, her followers couldn’t help but notice something special.

The Good Morning America host posted heartwarming photos of herself with her daughter Katharine and son Duff during their beach outing in Nantucket. The family radiated happiness under the sun. She playfully captioned one of the photos, “Look who the wind blew into shot two.”

In the picture, the trio stood close, and fans quickly commented on their striking resemblance—her kids being almost identical to her. Duff, who towered over them, shared his mom’s eyes and smile. Katharine, on the other hand, inherited her mom’s blonde hair and eyes.

Lara captioned it: “What fun seeing my daughter play with her future Vanderbilt teammates as they team up with Clemson at the Lake Placid tournament. Can’t believe she goes to college in 2 weeks.”

Meanwhile, Duff, aged 22, is pursuing his studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Like any doting mom, Lara missed her son when he departed for college. She shared a touching photo of their dog waiting by the door for Duff’s return, mentioning that she too was eagerly waiting.

Lara has candidly shared her struggles with the empty nest syndrome. She empathized with Ali Wentworth in a heartfelt response to Ali’s post about not feeling ready to drop her daughter off at college.

The Good Morning America host admitted: “I hear you, sister. I am at the airport with a giant lump in my throat. I don’t want to leave. It’s going to feel too real. The house will be too quiet. The music won’t be blaring. Her room will be neat. My clothes will not be missing. I don’t like it one bit.”
