Lara Trump’s Song Faces Harsh Criticism

Lara Trump’s attempt at breaking into the music industry has not gone down well with listeners and internet users.

The Republican National Committee’s co-chairperson and Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law recently released a song titled “Hero” in collaboration with artist Madeline Jaymes. The song, intended as a tribute to firefighters, has faced severe criticism online, with many people harshly judging Trump’s vocal performance.

A clip from the “Hero” music video has already garnered over six million views on X. One viewer commented, “Every note is a violation of the Geneva Convention,” while another quipped, “Autotune doing a lot of heavy lifting here.”

Further sentiments echoed this disdain, with one post questioning, “Who is taking her money telling her she can sing?”

Internet personality Travis Akers even chimed in on the discussion, tweeting, “If your ears have been exposed to the abominable sounds of Lara Trump singing, you might be entitled to compensation.”

The duet by Trump and Jaymes aims to “honor heroes and their bravery,” featuring lyrics such as, “You’re climbing up the ladder, and the screams get louder. You’re my hero.”

This isn’t the first time Lara Trump has gone viral for her vocal efforts. Last year, she was similarly mocked for her rendition of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down,” a performance that was altered to sound worse than the original video. Even The Associated Press had to fact-check the authenticity of the clip, Rolling Stone reported.
