LeBron James Vibes to Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” at Munich Concert

LeBron James, now with some free time after the Olympics, decided to head to Munich to attend Adele’s concert. The event was marked by heavy rainfall, which created a fitting backdrop to Adele’s performance of “Set Fire to the Rain.” James was seen enjoying the music amidst the downpour.

Despite LeBron’s history of not always getting lyrics right, the 39-year-old seemed to have a great time at the show, held at the Messe München arena on Wednesday. This concert was the fifth in a planned series of 10 shows, and the rain made it especially memorable.

Joking about the weather, Adele mentioned she would be upset if the rain stopped before she performed “Set Fire to the Rain.” The rain did ease but lingered long enough for the English singer to deliver a remarkable performance.

Adele mentioned that the rain made this concert particularly fun for her. However, it did cause a minor inconvenience as she had to swap her high heels for sneakers.

LeBron James, after his European performances, has resumed his usual activities. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, he averaged 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game, leading Team USA to a gold medal. James was named MVP of the tournament. It will be intriguing to see how he fares with the Los Angeles Lakers in the upcoming 2024-25 season.

This wasn’t LeBron’s first time attending an Adele concert, and it likely won’t be his last. Adele, 36, began dating his agent Rich Paul a couple of years ago, and they have taken a significant step in their relationship.

During an earlier Munich show, Adele confirmed her engagement to Paul by showing off her engagement ring in response to a fan’s sign asking, “Will you marry me?” Engagement rumors had been circulating since 2022 when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring at the BRIT Awards.

Both Adele and Paul had previously declined to comment on the rumors, but it seems confirmed now. The couple has not disclosed when they plan to get married, but James will undoubtedly be there when they do. He and Paul have known each other for over two decades, and their bond has only grown stronger over time.
