Liam and Noel Gallagher’s Earnings from the 2025 Oasis Reunion Tour

As fans eagerly await the chance to snag tickets for the Oasis reunion tour, there’s growing speculation about the financial worth of this highly anticipated event. The legendary Manchester-formed rock group, led by estranged brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, is set to reunite after 16 years for grand stadium performances in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin in 2025.

The general ticket sale is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, August 31. They have teamed up with Twickets as their official ticket resale platform to prevent exorbitant resale prices. Twickets, known for its ethical approach, ensures that tickets are resold for no more than their face value and booking fees, protecting fans from unscrupulous touts who might otherwise sell them at ten times the original price.

The Oasis website cautions fans, stating, “Ticket resale is permitted at no more than the price you paid (face value + booking fees). Please only use the official resale partners www.twickets.live and Ticketmaster. Selling tickets through unauthorized resale platforms will breach these T&Cs and those tickets may be canceled.”

Reports suggest that the Gallagher brothers could potentially earn up to £50 million from the tour, with additional revenue expected from merchandise sales, sponsorships, and other branding opportunities. Tickets for their London Wembley Stadium performance start at £74.25, with the most expensive ticket pricing at £506.25, which includes a pre-show party, exhibition, and seated package.

Ticket prices for other venues were also announced. The cheapest tickets are for Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, priced at £73, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium at £74, according to promoter SJM Concerts. In Dublin, tickets for the Croke Park gigs will start at 86.50 euros (£72.75) without booking fees, as per Irish promoters MCD.

In Manchester, their hometown, ticket prices start from £148.50 for standing areas, which also include several hospitality and luxury packages. At Wembley Stadium, standing tickets will cost £151.25, while similar tickets in Cardiff and Edinburgh are slightly less expensive at £150 and £151, respectively.

Amazon has revealed a new merchandise range with the brothers, exclusive to the Oasis store on Amazon.co.uk. This includes vinyl bundles, T-shirts with the classic Oasis logo, and two exclusive designs on different T-shirt styles, each sold for £24.99.

Additionally, a deluxe 30th anniversary edition box set of their iconic debut album “Definitely Maybe” is available for £64.99. This box set includes remastered versions of famous tracks like “Shakermaker,” “Live Forever,” and “Rock’n’Roll Star.” A “strawberries and cream” anniversary edition vinyl of “Definitely Maybe” is also available, priced at £37.99.

Oasis is likely to announce special anniversary editions of their second album “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” next year, marking its 30th anniversary and coinciding with their 2025 tour. They are also expected to announce additional dates outside of Europe at a later stage.

Liam Gallagher has dismissed claims that the tour is purely for financial reasons, though the earnings from the tour are expected to be substantial. This would be particularly beneficial for Noel, who recently settled a £20 million divorce from his ex-wife, Sara MacDonald.

The end of Noel’s 12-year marriage reportedly included MacDonald receiving their £8 million South Downs mansion in Hampshire along with ongoing maintenance payments.

Analysts speculate that the reunion tour could boost the UK’s economy by around £350 million, with fans spending on hotels, merchandise, travel, tickets, and shopping. This economic impact is similar to that of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour in the UK.
