Lil Yachty’s Epic Meltdown Over Karrahbooo & ‘A Safe Place’ Co-Host Mitch

In a dramatic turn of events, Lil Yachty had a public meltdown on Instagram Live concerning his former artist Karrahbooo and his podcast co-host, Mitch. The incident unfolded last night and immediately caught the internet’s attention.

A viral clip from his podcast A Safe Place showed Lil Yachty, Mitch, and Key Glock discussing why some people desire what others have, leading to an awkward moment. “Some people gotta eat, gotta feed they family, however the case may be,” Yachty said. “That’s when the militant part comes into play because sometimes, unfortunately, they don’t wanna put in the work and just want what you have. And that’s a whole different conversation because I ain’t been rich forever.” He added, “I done been broke before, so who am I to tell this guy not to do what he gotta do.”

Mitch disagreed, suggesting they could offer different advice. “Like what? You ain’t never had a job. What you gonna tell a guy to get a job?” Yachty retorted, questioning what Mitch would be doing if Yachty wasn’t around. Key Glock remained silent during the exchange.

The clip exploded on Rap Twitter, sparking criticism that Yachty was being a bad friend. During his IG Live, Yachty revealed he started the podcast to help his friend but considered ending it because Mitch wouldn’t defend him online. “I ain’t want to do no podcast, man, I’m a rapper,” Yachty stated emotionally.

Mitch took to Twitter to clarify, indicating that he and Yachty often joke around and are brutally honest with each other.

Meanwhile, the issue with Karrahbooo was ignited by a waitress at Red Lobster. X user @C_Staxxz shared that Karrahbooo, once part of Yachty’s Concrete Boys group, claimed she was kicked out due to bullying.

Offended by these claims, Yachty went live to address them. “Tell people how you verbally abuse people. Don’t make it seem like we kicked you out for no reason,” he said. Yachty accused Karrahbooo of demeaning others and even claimed he wrote her verses and styled her and other group members.

“I wrote every verse you performed. I dressed you and the others. I even bought jewelry for everyone,” Yachty claimed. He expressed frustration, stating he significantly improved her life, only for her to allege bullying. “You talk to people crazy, claim they are poor, and treated my label people terribly. You even accused me of stealing money, but you hadn’t made any money,” he continued.

Yachty criticized the behavior of newer artists, stating they become more famous online than through their music. He claimed documents proving she owed $900,000, emphasizing he was trying to offer her opportunities.

Yachty discussed her viral On the Radar freestyle, explaining how he adjusted the beat for her verse to make it stand out. For reasons unknown, he frequently finds himself in controversial situations and declared he would cease speaking on the Internet. “I’m not talking anymore. I’m done with the internet for the rest of the year,” Yachty concluded.

As of now, Karrahbooo has not responded to Yachty’s comments.
