Lindsay Lohan’s Son Luai Turns 1 with a Cake Inspired by Her Famous Movie

Lindsay Lohan’s son Luai reached a big milestone this week: he turned 1! The Irish Wish star shared photos of her baby boy’s birthday cake, and it’s a subtle tribute to one of his mom’s famous movies.

“Happy Birthday to my Luai. You are 1!” the Mean Girls alum wrote on Instagram Wednesday. “I love you more than anything in this world. My son, my baby, my heart, my everything.” She continued, “I love you always always, forever and ever and beyond! 🎂🙏❤️”

Aww! This is so, so cute. We love seeing how much joy and love she has for her baby boy, who she shares with husband Bader Shammas. And she shared photos of the cake, which is perfect. The cake is covered in blue icing with an adorable little white car on top that has a “01” on the side. The name “LUAI” is written in black-and-white letters, reminiscent of a road, and there are two black-and-white checkered race flags on top.

She shared a second picture of party favors, which were beautifully decorated cookies that said “LUAI” and “speed limit 1” in the same racetrack icing. It’s just like Lohan’s famous 2005 Disney film, Herbie: Fully Loaded, where she drives a little talking Volkswagen Beetle called Herbie.

Fans thought so too. “It’s giving ‘Herbie: Fully Loaded’ vibes🥹🩵” one person said. “Awe happy birthday to your son!🎂🎉💙 by the way the cake is amazing and is definitely herbie the car vibes🏁🚘” someone else said.

Lohan’s brother commented, “Luai will look back and see what an amazing bday his momma set up for him 🩵🩵🩵”

Lohan has been reminiscing about her Disney era recently, as she is currently filming Freaky Friday 2 with Jamie Lee Curtis. She opened up about how special it was for her to return to Walt Disney Studios lot. “For me, it was when I went on to the Disney lot,” Lohan told Nightline. “Being back on the Disney lot because that’s not just Freaky Friday. For me, that’s The Parent Trap. That’s Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. That’s Herbie. It’s so many moments for me. So when I got there, I kind of felt like this essence of a little kid again.”

The actress also celebrated her own birthday this month. “Another trip around the sun 🎂🥳🎉😘🙏 ,” the 38-year-old wrote on Instagram recently. “grateful for every moment and cherishing every second of everyday and all of the beautiful things life has to offer. Feeling blessed. Thank you for all of the lovely birthday wishes ☺️”

Her Life-Size co-star Tyra Banks commented, “That’s my lil boo. Love you, Casey!” Her The Parent Trap dad Dennis Quaid wrote, “Happy birthday. I hope you had a wonderful day Lindsay.”

She is glowing as a mom, and we are so happy for her. Happy birthday, Luai!
