Lucy-Bleu Knight, the stepdaughter of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, has tragically passed away at the age of 25.

The heartbreaking news was shared on Sunday by the legendary musician and his long-time partner, Meegan Hodges, who is Lucy-Bleu’s mother, via Instagram.

“Lucy-Blue Knight (December 6, 1998) beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024,” read the statement.

“Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul. The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”

No further details about Lucy-Bleu’s death, including the cause, were disclosed.

Just hours after the news of her passing, one final post appeared on Lucy-Bleu’s Instagram account. It remains unclear if it was scheduled beforehand or posted by another individual.

“Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity—I am sorry. Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart, and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace🌷,” read the post, accompanied by a selfie of Lucy-Bleu looking off-camera.

Her mother was among the first to comment, writing, “MY BABY GIRL! 🕊️🤍 I LOVE YOU WITH EVERYTHING. I’M SO SORRY.”

The announcement followed Slash’s revelation on social media on Saturday that several dates on the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. tour would be canceled.

Lucy-Bleu was also remembered by London, who shared the family’s statement along with a graphic featuring a picture of her with angel wings and the words, “Rest In Paradise, Lucy.”
