Madonna Finds ‘Inspiration’ in Britney Spears’ Risque Instagram Posts

Madonna is back to her usual antics of sharing risqué photos on social media and linking up with younger partners. An insider reveals that her behavior is partly inspired by her old friend, Britney Spears.

The source shares that Madonna spends hours in front of the mirror, dancing and adjusting filters on her iPhone. She often gushes over Britney’s Instagram posts, using them as inspiration.

Britney Spears, now 42, has long admired Madonna, 66. As a young girl, Britney looked up to icons like Janet Jackson and Madonna. In a 2001 press teleconference, Britney mentioned how these stars were major inspirations for her.

In the 2002 book “Madonnastyle,” Britney expressed her admiration for Madonna, calling her a huge influence since childhood. She even aspired to be a legend like her.

As Britney’s career took off in the early 2000s, she realized her dream of collaborating with Madonna. They worked together on Britney’s 2003 album “In the Zone,” producing the song “Me Against the Music” and famously sharing a kiss on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards that year.

According to the insider, if their schedules align, the two could very well hang out, whether in L.A. or elsewhere if Britney steps out of her comfort zone.

Their mentor-mentee relationship deepened in 2004 when Madonna introduced Britney to the Kabbalah Centre. Although Britney eventually left the religion, stating that her “baby is [her] religion,” their bond remained strong.

Madonna could empathize with Britney as she struggled with fame in the mid-2000s. Both experienced the pressures of the spotlight, fostering mutual respect and a friendship that’s more akin to equals rather than a sympathy case.

After wrapping up her six-month “The Celebration Tour” in May, which concluded with a massive free concert in Rio de Janeiro attended by 1.6 million people, Madonna has focused on finishing her autobiographical biopic “Who’s That Girl.”

Britney, on the other hand, has been working on her own autobiography, “The Woman in Me,” since 2022. Released in October 2023, the book has already sold over 2 million copies.

People around Madonna have accepted that they can’t change her ways or talk sense into her. Now, she seeks allies and like-minded friends, with Britney fitting the bill perfectly.
