Mariah Carey’s Twins Offer Surprising Glimpse of Their Home Life—Photos

Mariah Carey’s twins are all grown up and ready to make their own mark in the public eye!

Though the “Fantasy” singer’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, are no strangers to the spotlight and have joined their mom on stage, they have recently stepped into the spotlight in a different way. Following their milestone 13th birthday, the teenagers launched their own Instagram accounts.

The twins, whose dad is Nick Cannon, launched their Instagram accounts in April. They have now shared insights into their summer activities, providing a candid glimpse into their lives.

Over the weekend, Moroccan and Monroe, affectionately nicknamed “Roc and Roe” by their parents, posted separate photo dumps on Instagram, showcasing their personalities and interests.

Monroe shared a series of photos paying homage to Los Angeles. Her posts included snapshots of her pup by her side at home, a sweet photo of her brother with cat ears, a picture of him looking stylish in a white t-shirt and cargo jeans, and a visit with friends to LA favorite Erewhon, where they enjoyed one of its famed celebrity smoothies.

Moroccan also shared a collection of photos, which included selfies with his twin sister, snapshots of hangouts with friends, and a picture of his dad, Nick, working on an electric piano keyboard.

For Moroccan and Monroe’s birthday on April 30, their dad hosted a western-themed birthday party. Sharing photos from the celebration on Instagram, Nick wrote: “Can’t believe 13 years ago I was blessed with the greatest gift of becoming a father!!” He added, “God has truly had his hand on the lives of two of the most loving, kind, intelligent and well-balanced humans I have ever witnessed!”

He continued, “Thank you for teaching [me] how to love every day and thank you for letting me be your dad!” He concluded with, “I’m going to eventually get it right, I promise!! Now let’s get back to partying! I love you Roc and Roe!! Happy Birthday!!!”

Prior to the milestone, Nick reflected on their next chapter during an interview with People in January. “It’s crazy, man. I was just talking to them about that,” he said. “13! That’s a big age, too. I remember that age like it was yesterday.”

He also shared, “Then you think in five more years they’ll be college students and adults, and it’s like, ‘Whoa. Wow.’ Time flies like crazy.”

“You scroll through your iPhone and they send you those photos like, ‘This was three years ago today,’ and you are like, ‘Yo, I thought that was last week,'” he joked. “You just see the growth right before your eyes.”

In addition to Moroccan and Monroe, Nick, who was married to Mariah from 2008 to 2016, has ten other children with five other women.
