Mark Wahlberg’s Lookalike Son Michael, 18, Shows Tattoo at The Union Premiere

Mark Wahlberg’s son Michael recently flaunted his chest tattoo during a rare family appearance on the red carpet.

The Ted star’s 18-year-old son revealed his body art while posing with his father Mark, 53, mother Rhea, 46, siblings Brendan Joseph, 15, Grace Margaret, 18, and girlfriend Sunni Gaines. The family was seen at the premiere of “The Union” in Los Angeles.

The public family outing follows the Wahlberg family’s move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, Nevada. Mark Wahlberg had been a long-time resident of LA before deciding to relocate with his wife and four children.

Michael’s slightly unbuttoned shirt gave a peek at his ink, which appeared to be a Roman Numeral three positioned on the upper left side of his chest.

He posed confidently alongside his famous family and his model girlfriend, who clung to his side. Notably missing from the family event was older sister Ella Rae, 20, who is currently studying at Clemson University in South Carolina.

Mark Wahlberg looked stylish in an unbuttoned navy shirt over a white T-shirt, paired with dark pants. He appeared to be in high spirits during the premiere.

Rhea Durham, 46, turned heads in a black tank top and a black laced midi-length skirt. She accessorized with a dainty gold necklace and wore her brunette locks in a stunning up-do, showcasing her radiant skin with a full face of glamorous makeup.

During the event, each of the Wahlberg children showcased their unique styles while supporting their father.

An official description of “The Union” reveals that the film follows Mike (Wahlberg), a down-to-earth construction worker, who is thrust into the world of super spies and secret agents by his high school sweetheart Roxanne (Halle Berry) for a high-stakes US intelligence mission.

The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix on August 16.

The family’s rare appearance comes two years after they moved away from the sandy beaches of LA to the entertainment capital of Las Vegas for a change of scenery and new opportunities.

In a 2023 interview with Fox Digital, Wahlberg explained the move, saying, “It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip. But just about 15, 20 minutes away, there’s a whole lot of other amazing areas that are all about family and community.”

The actor added that moving was about providing their children with opportunities to pursue their individual goals. “My daughter’s an equestrian,” he said. “My son’s a golfer. My oldest daughter is now off to college. My son’s a junior.”

Wahlberg also hinted at future projects in Las Vegas, stating, “There’s lots of opportunities here for me as well. We’re trying to create a studio and build a shoe factory. We want to create lots of jobs here.”

During an appearance on “The Talk” last fall, Wahlberg mentioned plans to potentially establish a tax credit for the state to build a state-of-the-art studio in Nevada, dubbing it “Hollywood 2.0.”

He also told Fox last April, “We’re always looking for new opportunities and new adventures. I hope to create a lot of opportunities here. And I originally moved to California to make movies. But I’ve made only three movies in the last 15 years in LA. It’s been difficult. The kids are really happy, and it’s all about them.”

Mark Wahlberg’s focus remains on the happiness and success of his family as they settle into their new life in Las Vegas.
