He concluded his statement with a hope that this case sends a strong message to other “unscrupulous suppliers of dangerous drugs,” suggesting that he wishes Matthew’s tragic end might help save lives in the future.

One of the arrested individuals, Jasveen Sangha, was nicknamed the “Ketamine Queen” and is being held without bond. A guilty party admitted she supplied to celebrities and the wealthy, which has raised many concerns.

Erik Fleming, an acquaintance of Matthew Perry, confessed to one count each of conspiracy to supply ketamine and the distribution of ketamine leading to death. Fleming also testified that he obtained the ketamine from Sangha.

Dr. Mark Chavez, a physician in San Diego, has pleaded guilty and agreed to provide all evidence and information he possesses regarding the wider ketamine distribution network and its connection to Perry’s death. Additionally, Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s assistant, admitted to buying and administering the ketamine to Perry on the day he died.

The most significant criminal charges target Sangha and Dr. Salvador Plasencia. Allegedly, it was Plasencia who initially sold ketamine to Perry. Following this, Perry supposedly turned to Sangha when he felt a need for more. Plasencia, however, has pleaded not guilty, and Sangha awaits her hearing.
