Reflecting on the previous episode, Mayonaka Punch episode 5 begins with Masaki questioning Live about the attendance at their meeting. Live explains that everyone else is busy. Frustrated, Masaki sends the group to a deserted island to create a compelling video.

Despite the girls’ initial reluctance, Live is determined to do well. She reads out an action plan that includes setting up a tent and lighting a fire. However, keeping the girls focused proves difficult as they often use their powers to make tasks easier.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Masaki enjoys some well-deserved alone time. On the island, the girls struggle to capture worthwhile footage even after two days. Their situation worsens when they realize they have forgotten their blood supply and a major typhoon restricts their departure. Tokage panics and attempts to force her way through the typhoon but is stopped.

Masaki quickly realizes they left their blood supply at home and rushes to help. Live tries to stay awake but eventually passes out. Masaki and Shigeuki manage to arrive and provide the girls with the necessary blood supply. Live, feeling embarrassed by the failure, runs away, but Masaki assures her that the video content is good because of their collective effort.
