Whitney Way Thore recently shared a surprising update on social media, revealing that her dad, Glenn Thore, has disowned her. This news might shock fans of My Big Fat Fabulous Life since Glenn has always supported Whitney, no matter her antics.

A new episode of My Big Fat Fabulous Life aired recently, which Whitney typically watches with her family, including her dad. She posted a clip on Instagram showing Glenn watching the August 13 episode.

In the video, Glenn is seen sitting in his recliner, watching TV. At one point, Whitney zooms in on his bewildered face and asks him, “Dad? How disappointed in the three of us are you?” Glenn responds, laughing, “There’s no words to explain it.” Her hysterical laughter can be heard following his humorous reaction.

Whitney captioned the post, “I have seen over 150 episodes of My Big Fat Fabulous Life over the last decade of my television career, and I can say — without a doubt — that I have never been so embarrassed to be in the same room as Glenn Thore as I was tonight.” She added that he had disowned her and her friends Angie and Jamie, tagging them in the post.

In the episode, Whitney, Angie, and other bachelorettes set out to learn more about intimacy, which made Jamie noticeably uncomfortable but was filled with laughter. Despite the fun, the nature of the episode still had elements that could make any dad cringe, making Whitney feel slightly embarrassed.
