Meena Harris Wears Erdem’s Florals at DNC 2024 for Kamala Harris

Meena Harris, the daughter of Maya Harris and the niece of Vice President Kamala Harris, took the stage at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago as a presenter on the final night. She wore an Erdem skirt suit adorned with delicate floral motifs.

Meena’s outfit featured an A-line midi skirt with a flared hem and a matching jacket, completed with white pumps. Erdem’s latest collection showcased similar floral details. WWD described the brand’s resort 2025 collection as being inspired by socialites and bohemians of the 1920s, offering a vibrant wardrobe that ranges from understated to lavish.

Meena was joined on stage by Kamala Harris’ goddaughter Helena Hudlin, who wore A.L.C., and stepdaughter Ella Emhoff, who showcased a creation she co-designed with Joe Ando.

“I grew up in Oakland, California, in a house full of extraordinary women — my mom, my grandma and my auntie, who showed me the meaning of service, helping her sister, a 17-year-old single mom, fighting for justice for the American people and still cooking Sunday family dinner. She guided me. Now she’s guiding my own children, and I know she’ll guide our country forward,” Meena expressed onstage.

The 2024 Democratic National Convention was held in Chicago from Monday to Thursday. The event served to officially nominate Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate and confirm her choice of Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota for vice president. The convention also had a significant focus on fashion.

Michelle Obama graced the stage in a Monse crisscross jacket. Jill Biden sparkled in a custom Ralph Lauren dress, while Hillary Clinton displayed her signature style in a tweed suit. Ella Emhoff and Ashley Biden also embraced luxury fashion for the convention. Ella wore Thom Browne, and Ashley opted for an all-white Gabriela Hearst ensemble.
