Meet 28-Year-Old Model Yulia Vlasova

Johnny Depp is officially off the market. The star of “Pirates of the Caribbean” is currently dating Yulia Vlasova, a 28-year-old model with an impressive career. Their relationship was confirmed by a source to PEOPLE in July 2024. Vlasova hails from Russia and is 33 years younger than Depp.

Depp, who had taken a break from dating after his intense divorce and defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard, seems to have found romance once more. Sources say his priority during this time was to focus on his mental health. Now that the tumultuous period is behind him, Depp appears ready to embrace a new relationship.

The couple reportedly prefers to keep things casual, refraining from putting formal titles on their relationship. Nonetheless, they have been seen in public together on several occasions.

Vlasova’s professional background is nothing short of remarkable. She was a finalist in the 2021 Miss Office beauty pageant, an international competition held in Moscow. She also studied at the University of West Bohemia and runs her own makeup and hairstyling studio, S.He Studio, based in Prague.

Depp and Vlasova have known each other for a while. In July 2022, they were photographed together at a concert for Jeff Beck, Depp’s late friend and musician. Since then, they have seemingly grown closer.

Currently residing happily in London, Depp has become a source of inspiration for Vlasova. During an Instagram Q&A session, she described the actor as “incredibly talented and inspiring,” going by the initials “JD.”

Recalling the highly publicized Depp v. Heard trial, it took place in Virginia and garnered constant media coverage. The legal battle was ignited by an op-ed Heard wrote in 2018 for the Washington Post, where she discussed alleged abuse issues without naming Depp specifically. Depp argued this violated a non-disclosure agreement signed during their divorce. After a six-week trial, the jury mostly sided with Depp, finding Heard guilty of defamation.

Depp was awarded over $10 million in damages, while Heard received $2 million. Subsequent to a settlement reached in 2022, all claims were dropped, and Heard agreed to pay Depp $1 million, which he distributed to five different charities.
