Megan Thee Stallion and BTS Set for New Collaboration, Details Unclear

Megan Thee Stallion and BTS first collaborated in 2021 with a remix of BTS’ massive hit “Butter.” Now, it appears the two are gearing up for another reunion, though the specifics remain somewhat mysterious.

Yesterday (August 29), Megan posted on her Twitter account, “[horse emoji]X[purple heart emoji] [eyes emoji].” Today, BTS’s official account responded by quote-tweeting Megan’s post with “[horse emoji]X[porcupine emoji]([koala emoji]) Coming Soon! [purple heart emoji][eyes emoji].”

The horse emoji clearly represents Megan, while BTS fans speculate that the koala is a stand-in for RM. Recently, Megan added RM’s song “Lost!” to her Instagram profile, further fueling the collaboration buzz. However, the hedgehog emoji remains a bit of a mystery. The specific formatting in BTS’s tweet suggests that this new project might also involve another performer, with RM potentially appearing as a featured artist.

In the meantime, Megan Thee Stallion has been keeping herself occupied. Earlier this month, she released the video for her song “Mamushi.” She was also announced as the host of the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, and it appears she is now in a relationship with NBA veteran Torrey Craig.

As for BTS, the group has been on a hiatus for the past couple of years. However, this break hasn’t been entirely restful, as the individual members have continued to stay busy with various projects.
