Megan Thee Stallion and RM Confirmed to Collaborate on BTS Teased Track

Megan Thee Stallion isn’t done with international collaborations just yet. The “Down Stairs DJ” rapper teased her fans with hints of a new project. On August 30, she hinted at another collaboration with a member of BTS.

Today (September 1), Megan Thee Stallion finally disclosed the full details about the anticipated track. On X (formerly known as Twitter), Megan announced her upcoming song with BTS’s RM, a prominent member of the group.

“NEVA PLAY WITH RM OUT FRIDAY HOTTIES X ARMY #MEGJOON,” she wrote.

Excitement continued to build as Megan promised big things for the new track titled “Neva Play.”

“This is one of my favorite RM verses I’ve heard,” she stated. “I’ve never heard him rap in this style before.”

Although BTS and its members are famous for their K-pop hits, they are no strangers to delving into rap. RM, in particular, has explored this genre, including his album Right Place, Wrong Person, which was released in May.

The new collaboration marks another chapter following Megan Thee Stallion’s 2021 guest verse on BTS’ “Butter Remix.” That song’s release was almost jeopardized due to interference from Megan Thee Stallion’s former label, 1501 Entertainment, which reportedly attempted to block it. Thankfully, this new release seems to be going smoothly.

“Neva Play” will be available on September 6 via Hot Girl Productions/Big Hit.
