Meghan Markle’s New ‘Gorgeous’ Lifestyle Show Concludes: Sources

Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle show is set to premiere on Netflix early next year, according to industry sources. The Duchess of Sussex has completed filming the project, which remains untitled for now. This show will complement her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, located near her Montecito, California home.

An insider described the show, which features Markle cooking and positioning herself as a lifestyle guru akin to Martha Stewart, as “gorgeous.”

Harry, 39, is rumored to make a few cameo appearances, though sources are mum on whether he will play a more significant role in the series.

While filming is finished, there’s still extensive work to be done on post-production. The show needs global synchronization for audio and subtitling, pushing its release to early 2025.

As of now, there is no confirmed launch date for the American Riviera Orchard brand either. The Duchess, who celebrates her 43rd birthday this Sunday, plans to launch the show alongside the brand, which aims to offer a range of products from jams to dog biscuits.

Interestingly, local farmers and manufacturers in the Santa Barbara area reported they had not been contacted about Markle’s jam-making, nor approached to assist with the brand.

Markle may have gleaned some business insights—and possibly even some funding—after joining high-powered businesswomen in The Hamptons last Friday at the G9 Ventures Summit, an event run by Amy Griffin. Stars such as Katie Couric, Laura Dern, and make-up guru Bobbi Brown attended, alongside Markle’s friends Misha Nonoo and Victoria Jackson.

Despite the brand’s launch being delayed, Markle recently sent out 50 jars of homemade jam to influential friends, including Kris Jenner, Tracee Ellis Ross, Mindy Kaling, and Harry’s close friend, polo star Nacho Figueras, and his wife, Delfina Balquier. Markle’s best friend Abigail Spencer also received a jar, as did fashion designer Tracy Robbins and her husband, Paramount Pictures CEO Brian Robbins.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais, Chrissy Teigen, and Alliance of Moms co-founder Kelly McKee Zajfen were also gifted jam.

In March, Markle teased American Riviera Orchard with soft-focus footage of herself arranging pink flowers and stirring something in a bowl.

Although the series promises glamour, Markle did not film it at her own $14.5 million home. Instead, she opted for a stunning estate owned by wealthy neighbors Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, just two miles away. The Cipollas, who boast a property portfolio valued at over $20 million, also run a physical therapy practice.

A representative for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was unavailable for comment.
