Michael Keaton Seeks Daughter Mila Kunis’ Help in Raising His Kids

The first trailer for Goodrich debuted on Friday, giving audiences a glimpse of Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis as an estranged father and daughter who reconnect.

Keaton stars as Andy Goodrich, a man whose life is disrupted when his wife and the mother of their 9-year-old twins goes into a 90-day rehab program, leaving him to manage their young kids on his own. Thrust into the world of modern parenthood, Goodrich relies on his grown daughter from his first marriage, Grace (played by Kunis), who is now pregnant, as he learns to become the father she never had.

“I am 27 years older than you, which is basically unheard of for siblings… except maybe in LA,” Grace explains to her younger siblings in the trailer.

Kunis and Keaton teased the movie in a Zoom conversation where she taught her on-screen dad how to post the trailer to his social media. “I posted this on my own by the way,” Keaton wrote on his Instagram Story with the trailer.

Written and directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, Goodrich also stars Andie MacDowell, Michael Urie, Carmen Ejogo, Laura Benanti, Kevin Pollak, Viven Lyra Blair, Nico Haraga, and Danny Deferrari.

After Ketchup Entertainment acquired the movie in a competitive mid-seven-figure deal in January, Goodrich will premiere on October 18 in theaters.
