Mann joined film writers and critics Katie Walsh and Blake Howard, who co-host the Miami Nice podcast centered on the 2006 film starring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell, for an engaging post-screening Q&A session. According to a source, several attendees traveled to Los Angeles specifically for the event, including Howard. The Australian host of another Mann-focused podcast, One Heat Minute, flew in for the special 35mm screening, which was part of American Cinematheque’s Friends of the Fest series.

Universal Pictures’ Miami Vice follows detectives Ricardo Tubbs (Foxx) and Sonny Crockett (Farrell) as they investigate the brutal murders of two federal agents, only to get entangled in the dangerous world of drug traffickers.
