Michigan Man Scams Popular TikToker in Viral TikTok Video

Scammers are going to scam!

If you mess around, you WILL find out.

Sadly, one individual discovered this on a viral scale.

If you are ever scrolling on TikTok’s For You page, you have probably come across or followed Ziggi Tyler. Known for their philanthropic actions and advocacy, Ziggi is a favorite among many followers.

One thing you must know about Ziggi is that they do not tolerate foolishness!

In a new video titled “Bad Criminals 101” which has garnered 53.8K views as of the publication date, Ziggi exposes a Michigan man for scamming.

Starting strong, Ziggi begins the video by saying “Hello JAMES from Michigan.” Now, Ziggi said much more than that, but typing it out might get one in trouble.

Ziggi continues the video by sharing that they received an “unexpected and unauthorized transaction” alert from their credit card company. Since the cash transfer happened on Venmo, Ziggi was alerted due to the high processing fees charged by credit card companies for such transactions.

After getting the alert, Ziggi contacted the two establishments they visited in Southern Michigan during their vacation. Once they called the second location and asked if this “James” worked there, the establishment confirmed he did.

After a detailed conversation, the establishment put Ziggi on hold for 15 minutes. You can probably see where this is going…

The establishment called the police after discovering a fake chip reader, which was used by “James” to access Ziggi’s (and probably other customers’) credit card information. Conveniently, “James” had already been fired from the store!

This incident serves as a lesson: you cannot get away with being a dumb and bad criminal!
